Hello, welcome to my homepage! My name is Wolfgang Beinert. I am a graphic designer and typographer. My activity covers all aspects of communication and graphic design; in full-service from the idea to the consequent realization up to the quality material or digital result.
I founded my Graphic Design Studio in Augsburg in 1989. Further stations were Vienna, Rome and Munich. Since 2006 Berlin is the seat of my graphic design office. I work mainly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Fonts and Writing
I am particularly interested in typography, i.e. the targeted and sustainable use of type. Typography does not mean typing letters, but making thoughts and language visible and understandable; in such a way that content, writing and image result in a visually and didactically satisfying whole.

Besides my profession as a graphic designer I am editor of Typolexikon.de, a dictionary of European typography with 3.623.390 visitors in 2018 (without webcrawler, Visit Duration 1 : 24 h).
In addition, since 2003 I have been passionately involved as a lecturer in graphic design and typography at various universities and at my own Typoakademie.de, where I offer seminars and workshops for professionals from the agency, design and publishing scene.
My client structure covers a multifaceted spectrum, from freelancers to globally operating DAX companies. My clients include Amnesty International, BMW, the Büttenpapierfabrik Gmund, Chanel, the Club of Rome, the Goethe-Institut, the J.C. Flowers & Company, the Bibliotheca Hertziana of the Max Planck Society, Daimler/Mercedes-Benz, the Museumsstiftung Post und Telekommunikation, Leica Camera, VOGUE, the City of Augsburg, the Tate Modern and the Staatliche Hofbräuhaus München.

Calculation and Payment
I work according to two remuneration models: Project remuneration (e.g. for corporate designs or annual reports) and remuneration by man-days (e.g. for workshops). All my offers are always flat-rate, fixed and offer legal security. Hidden cost centers or additional demands are not usual. The German language and German or EU law are binding for all agreements.
